Infographics for the Anthropocene

How do historical ideas about the natural world inform our current understanding of environmental crises? This series combines 21st century climate and environmental science with archival illustrations and text, in an exploration of humanity’s relationship to Nature, from ancient spiritual belief to the development of contemporary data-driven research.

Work initially developed as Artist in Residence, Kinney Center for Interdisciplinary Renaissance Studies, College of Humanities and Fine Arts, University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Mixed wet and dry media on cotton canvas and paper, sizes variable. 2022-2023.
